It's only been made available (well it's not actually available yet) to long-time members with over a certain number of posts (not sure how many though).

 :o :-\ :'(

So far it has not been released to anyone. Even those chosen to be beta testers. The only beta is the current beta site. No date has been released or given. We just have to wait untill the product is ready enough and the developers are satisfied with the initial release.

They do not want to be bombarded with how do I do this, how do I do that questions. There is enough of that already going on in the forum when the answers have already been posted. Most of this comes from new users who have not learned how to use the forum.

If you do not know how to use the forum, you are not ready for a beta release of new software. As helpful as the moderators and developers are, they are busy and do not often have the time to repeat answers to redundant questions.

Like when, when, when...

Finding quality answers is hard when the same questions are asked over and over again.

Do all initial searches from the main forum page. http://phpmotion.com/forum/index.php

You weren't actually a beta tester. AFAIK, they allowed everyone over 30 posts or something to apply. Out of those they chose a select few. Don't quote me on that, it may have just been a mistake, but don't get annoyed at them for it either. It'll be out soon for everyone else.

Ermmm... just had a quick look at the PHP5 version. Why are all the /includes/ and /classes/ files encoded. Even the config.inc.php. That's where the settings are kept isn't it?

Note to all Beta testers: Please post all questions about the beta software in the Beta Testers board

how does one get chosen to be a v3 beta tester? Will they notify us via our message inbox on this forum that we've been chosen or do we have to request it?  I'm in no rush, I'm just inquiring because I see that they have just released the v3 beta.  Thanks everyone. phpmotion is a great script.
