This might have been discused before but so far after an extensive search I have not been able to find the answer I was looking or I'd get the right solution. My problem is: I've been running my
www.checkmycity.com web site for two years now and I've been hosting with apthost since the beggining.
Two weeks ago I switched from semi-dedicated to VPS and the problem with upload accoured. I noticed I was able to upload .wmv formats but not .mp4 or .mov (among others). I've been in touch with the provider and their tech team has realy been great but the problem still exists. We've checked the paths, they reinstalled the scripts etc. Still doesn't work. .WMV will upload, creat thumb etc. but all other formats just upload (I get "Upload processing" notification) but won't create suitable video file and thumb. In avi folder I see that it does upload this file (eg. mp4 format) but does not convert it.
Has anyone else had such a problem and were you successful in fixing it? Please respond. Thanks!!!!
