hi

I have downloaded and installed the _spanish.php and it works very well on my site (www.canalcasting.net) but there are certain areas where still it hasn't been translated or I can't somehow reach... like the search top box.. or the welcome to on top left...

Do you know how to fix this?

Thx very much
Alberto

Hello Everyone and thx for your feedback

I have added the translation for the JAMII as the instructions said, but there are a few words that are not in that list for instance:

- I would like to know how to change the SHARE button into Spanish

- Or the Search yourdomain.com . And the SEARCH button next to it too...

- Just below the player where it says description there is MORE INFO. And a little later: Rated: 0/5 (0 Votes) 1 2 3 4 5  Views: (0)     Duration: (00:01:02)
Category: CANAL CASTING     Uploaded: 2010-08-27 14:52:5. All these need translation

- At the BLOG page, where it say people, places, personal..

- Or on the top right WELCOME...

- Or the text (Hide) that appears when mousing over the icon...

- The pages SITE INFORMATION, LEGAL INFORMATION, HELP INFORMATION, ETC...

Please this is very important to be shown in the other language... I don't know if it's possible but I think it could be a good idea to add all of these to the english.php... I've looking through it and I haven't been able to find any of them..

Thank you very much

Te contesto en español.

La traducción al español debe ser colaborativo. Si encuentras errores en la traducción o algo que falta (hay varias sentencias sin traducir), creas un archivo nuevo de subida según se indica y le pones a disposición dela comunidad.
Es muy fácil exigir sin aportar.
Saludos y buen día.

Translated into a not so good English.

The translation into Spanish must be collaborative. If you find errors in translation or something missing (several sentences without translating), you create a new file upload as follows, and you put communitytothe available.
It is very easy to call without contributing.
Greetings and good day.

spanish translation lang file
« Reply #9 on: September 08, 2010, 06:10:44 AM »
Thx for the response...

I see many areas, forms and many many pages where the transaltion of the _spanish.php doesn't reach. I attach a couple of docs with the translations issues that I find. The php file (zipped) I called _spansh_jamii.php just because it is the template that  I use and it contains the translation that I have adapted.

The doc spanish_translation_issues.docx is about the issues that I have encountered during the translation,  that I have had to do manually in different files in different folders... And that were not found in the _spanish.php lang file... I propose to continue working over this document until we have the phpmotion totally translated...(I am open to better proposals too).

If you happen to make changes over this document, please do them in a different color so that we keep track of the original one. The SECTION C of the docx is called FILES NOT FOUND YET – (TRANSLATION TO BE ACOMPLISHED). Here you can paste in red translations you can't find and pass them over to the SECTION A.   TRANSLATION ON THE FILES (indicating the extension of the folder), when they have benn properly translated.

With the idea to finally publish them in SECTION D TRANSLATION ON THE SPANISH.PHP as [var.lang_xxx] entries.
 ::)

If anyone knows how to add to the language.php via [var.lang_xxxxxxxxx]. Let me know and I'll do it... Not always works just adding [var.lang_xxxxx] to the lang file and then paste back [var.lang_xxxxx] to the htm, php, js or other file on the server.... I'm new to this... so I can't say why...

Thx to everyone.
If this is to messy, let me know... To me this work seems like a jeroglific so far ..

Hope we get a full Spanish translation that paves the way for future users... and leave a final spanish.php file that just by uploading it to the server leaves phpmotion totally adapted to Spanish.

Hello guys!
Is it possible the link is broken? I have been trying to download the spanish file since yesterday, but I get a time-out error. I don't know if the link has expired or if the problem is on my side.

Maybe you have posted an updated version somewhere else??

Hi everyone!
not speak good English, only Spanish, so I apologize if something is spelled wrong.
Here I upload the file in Spanish to take this forum and further expand it so that others can use, even missing some translations, but is more advanced.
I thank whoever it served me well, and hopefully contribute something to you too.
This does not have the accents and the ñ `distorting the appearance of the page.

I also want to ask if someone can tell me where Translates the following: Upload In Progress
 Thanks and greetings to everyone!
